"Two Ships" is the eighth episode of the twelfth season of ER. It first aired on NBC on November 17, 2005. It was written by Joe Sachs & Virgil Williams and directed by Christopher Chulack. The episode focuses on Neela Rasgotra teaming up with paramedic Tony Gates on a paramedic ride-along as they tend to the care of the victims of a deadly plane crash.

Plot[]

Neela does a ride-along with paramedics, led by Tony Gates, when a plane collision sends them to respond at the scene as Pratt joins them on the field.

Neela tries to save two trapped children inside a burning house cause by the crash, despite danger. Luka and Clemente continue to clash over triaging patients at the ER.

Sam calls Haleh back in when extra nurses we're needed, despite she might lose her job for it. Luka and Abby have an awkward talk about their intimacy the night before.

LOVE MAKES THE ER GO ROUND-GUEST STARRING JOHN STAMOS: Neela (Parminder Nagra) thinks that she is going on a routine ambulance ride-along with Gates (Guest Star John Stamos) and soon finds herself in the middle of an emergency, attending to a plane crash site where many are injured and trapped inside a burning building.

Meanwhile, the ER opens to trauma victims of the plane crash and Sam (Linda Cardellini) struggles with an executive decision that could cost her her job.

Neela's (Parminder Nagra) bravery has won the respect of her co-workers and especially Gates the ambulance driver, but her day is not over when she receives a surprise.

Also starring Goran Visnjic, Maura Tierney, Kristen Johnston, Sharif Atkins and Shane West.
