Malik McGrath is a character on the NBC network series, ER. He worked as a nurse in the emergency room of County General in Chicago, Illinois.
Role in the Series[]
Malik has been on the series since the pilot episode and gives the ER some comic relief. Unlike the other ER nurses who are registered nurses, he is a licensed practical nurse as revealed in season 10.
Relationships with other characters[]
He is friends or friendly acquaintances with everyone in the ER. He is good friends with the desk clerks, Frank Martin and Jerry Markovic, whom he once played a practical joke during his surprise birthday party in the 5th season.
He was also good friends with Abby Lockhart when she was an ER nurse and remained friends with her when she became an ER doctor.
