Janet Coburn is the head of the Obstetrics department at County General. She mostly specializes in dealing with cases that involve pregnant women, especially any staff members in the hospital. She is portrayed by Amy Aquino.
History[]
At least since 1994 (unknown if beforehand), she was appointed the Chief of OB/GYN at County General. She could be seen questioning Mark Greene's decision as a Chief Resident to attempt a c-section and has operated on several own staff members (Carol and Abby) when they were pregnant. She is the head of the OB/GYN unit.
